Only a token’s address: copy it from the token’s official site. Never your recovery words or private key.
Paste a token address first.
Only the token address is sent. We store nothing about you.
Paste a token’s address on Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain or Solana. Free, with proof, and no transaction is sent.
Who holds the power
A token’s code can give someone switches over your tokens. What matters is who holds each switch.
Words used here
- Key
- A secret that signs for one account.
- Freeze
- A frozen wallet can no longer send the token.
- Burn, print
- Burning destroys tokens; printing (minting) makes new ones.
- Trading switch
- Turns buying and selling on or off.
- New contract
- The token moves to new code, whose rules can differ.
- Test call
- A dry run on a copy of the blockchain that changes nothing; an ordinary address is one with no special role.
- Block, slot
- One moment in the blockchain’s public record, where a reading comes from.

One key
One wallet can act alone, at any time.

A group or a wait
Several keys must sign, or each change waits, so there may be time to react.

No holder
The power was given up, or nobody holds it.

Hidden
We cannot see who holds the power.
What each level means
- CriticalOne key can freeze wallets, take tokens, change the code or switch the token to a new contract.
- HighOne key can print tokens, change fees or limits, or stop trading.
- MediumA group of keys or a timelock holds the power.
- LowA limited power, such as a pause or a name that can change.
- UnclearWe could not see who holds the power.
- InfoNobody holds the power: it was given up or never set.
- Not readThe reading did not come back this time.
On Solana: if the 10 largest wallets hold half or more of all tokens, that is High; a fifth or more, Medium.
Many stablecoins, such as USDC, keep freeze and print powers on purpose. A power shows what is possible, not what anyone intends.

Our research on upgradeable contracts, data of 17 October 2026.
What this check cannot see
- Whether you can sell the token.
- Who holds most tokens on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain.
- Liquidity in the trading pools.
- History: past changes and the creator’s other tokens.
- Fine print and powers under other names. Finding nothing does not prove a token is safe.
